I had to take my rabbit for an emergency. I was surprised that the clinic was so comfortable — fireplace and lounge chairs in the lobby, couch and other comfortable seating in the patient rooms.

The staff were friendly and kind.

I took 2 of my cats to see Dr. Shepard! She was absolutely amazing, my furbabies loved her and she was able to work with me to help with cost and payment! My kitties immediately started feeling better too!

The staff here are exceptionally compassionate and knowledgeable. They provide a wide range of services, from routine and emergency veterinary care to boarding. Having worked in the veterinary field myself, I’m very selective about who I trust with my dogs’ care. We live in Roanoke and willingly drive 45 minutes to come here (when time allows) because their quality of emergency care and transparent pricing are unmatched.

Took my dog here for a veterinary emergency when she dislocated her shoulder while we were traveling. We didn't get there until close to midnight, but they took us in immediately & gave her appropriate pain medication. They even held her for a bit to monitor for drug sensitivity, as she's sensitive to a lot of drugs. The place is beautiful, clean, & state of the art & the vet & vet assistants were fantastic. Their prices were also very reasonable for an ER. We were pleased.

Town and Country Veterinary Clinic is a valuable resource in our community. Recently, we had to visit in the middle of the night and were greeted by friendly, efficient staff who provided care for our Weimaraner during a difficult time. Many people criticize the cost of emergency vet visits, but they often overlook the expenses involved in running such a facility, including compensating vets and vet techs for overnight shifts.

Since moving here in 2018, we have visited T&C at least six times. What stands out most to us is how the staff collaborates with pet owners to create the best plan for each animal. They also follow up days later to ensure everything is progressing well.

It should also be noted that T&C is a clean and inviting facility. The environment brings a sense of calm during what is already a stressful time for you and your pet. They have created such a nice space to welcome animals and their humans.

While we hope not to need their services again in the middle of the night, we feel reassured knowing they are there for us and that we will be met at the door by caring, friendly professionals.

I had a cat needing an TIECA (soft tissue inner ear surgery). Dr. Burdette and her staff at Town and Country did an amazing job caring for her and keeping me updated with her surgery. I live 2 hours away and will continue to come to this office for specialized surgery for any other animals! Their price was amazing compared to other offices that offer the same type surgery.

I have 2 high maintenance dogs. I take them to Town & Country for routine grooming and they always do a great job!
