Professional,knowlegable staff who cared for our dog.We have used them before, and feel comfortable bringing pets here for emergency treatment.
After bringing my blue healer, Butch to a veterinarian, I was told by their staff that they weren’t taking new patients. I went to another veterinarian in Mount Airy. They said that his heart worms or two severe for a 10-year-old dog to survive and then I should euthanize him immediately. There was no way I was throwing in the towel after everybody in my church got through praying for Butch the same night he had seizures so at 2 AM I road 68 miles to Town & Country veterinarian I was terrified they took him in and kept him for two nights when I picked him up. They said he had a severe case of Heartworms, but they weren’t ready to give up on him. His primary care veterinarian. Dr. Pierce is extremely knowledgeable. They gave me a prescription for Keppra and he gets three pills a day every eight hours they have been treating his heartworm condition and here it is September 11, 2025. We brought him up there this morning at 11 AM. Dr. Pierce was there. They ran some test and the heartworm test came back negative. Zero Heartworms none !!!! I am extremely amazed of how professional these folks are on the three occasions, he spent the night at Town & Country and I would pick him up to next morning. I cannot thank Dr. Pierce and the staff enough and my butch loves dr. Pierce I would like to take this moment to explain that their prices for services are extremely reasonable. I can’t imagine anybody writing a nasty review about Town & Country enough said.!!!!!! They saved my dog and we will always love this veterinarian Hospital I have a total of seven dogs at home and they will all be treated at town and country

I could not have received better care from any other vet. They heard my concerns seriously and tried to save my wallet. When it came time to make the very difficult decision of letting my sweet Gizmo go, Dr. Bailey was so tender and gentle in his bedside manner and the handling of my dog. They made one of the hardest nights of my life one where I simultaneously had peace and reassurance. ❤️

Friendly and helpful staff. Great care and reasonably priced. Clean facility. Will definitely return if needed!

This place is amazing! Our local emergency vet was all booked when our senior dog had a series of seizures. We drove to Christiansburg to Town and County and had the best possible care. The office is clean, the folks are so pleasant and they took such great care of my pup. The fact they are available 24/7 is crazy amazing. And I really appreciated the care of the doctors and staff while treating my girl- they took the time to explain and comfort myself and my son during our visit. This may be my new full time vet. Would definitely recommend!!

Dr Kelly and her staff - always go out of their way to assist with my dog, who has seizures. They are knowledgeable, friendly and always professional.

We saw Dr. Pierce for an emergency with our dog, who is having breathing problems. He was very knowledgeable very kind and very caring with and for our dog. So much so that we have now made him our primary care vet, even though it takes us an hour to get there! They are a bit pricier than average during the night for emergency problems however, for regular vet needs,
( non-emergent ), their pricing is comparable to our regular vet that we were seeing in Carroll County, VA.
I highly recommend Dr. Pierce and staff at Town & Country Veterinarian Clinic in Christiansburg, VA!

The staff is always friendly to me and takes care of my cat really good.Alexis Was super nice and very gentle with my cat while trimming his nails

I took my dog whiskey here today because her tail was amputated at her vet on Thursday and today we saw that it had opened up. Her normal vet is closed on Sundays so we called Town and Country and they were able to get her in super fast! The staff, the tech, and the vet were all super sweet and caring. Giving whiskey lovins and keeping her calm while they stapled it shut.

Extremely friendly staff from, Eve at the front desk to Leslie the vet tech to Dr.K. Bailey. They are very knowledgeable and informative of symptoms and causes and treatments , they cared for our Butch just like he was , a family member , we ended up losing Butch but without the vet and staff at Town and Country we wouldn't have gotten the extra time with him !!! I cannot recommend this place enough - they treat the people and fur babies with the utmost care and respect !!!
